An accident or destiny, t'was never known

I got you, you got me, the seed of love was sown

Sorrow was lost, worries were thrown

That day, that moment, a shoot of love was grown.

With days that plant grew and so did we

So close we always wished to be

In school my eyes always searched for her

And there she was searching for me.

Forgot our friends, forgot our family

Forgot everything we had in the past

Days went on and so did the nights,

But she used to be the first and she was the last.

She was the princess to the throne I ruled,

Her smile, oh damn! How much I was fooled

Hidden was so much sadness under it

Never revealed, our relationship was always fueled.

All she had was given to me

My desires, my wishes were always free

No demands, no prices, it was always there at 'two',

She never let the countdown reach the 'three'.

Her touch was the tonic for my health

On contrary, her pain was always stealth

The more she cared, the more I smiled

As if my smile was her only wealth.

Her smile, her laugh, a lovely rhyme

Her hair! Oh god! The best wind chime

She was the apple and I was the Newton

The discovery wasn't gravity but love this time.

Keep her happy, I was tasked

"Don't break my trust", was all she asked

But I couldn't keep up with the promises I did,

Committing those crimes and keeping them masked.

Fooling myself that they were small

My heap of crimes just went tall

Lying to her, I just went on

Never knowing the fate would one day fall.

Then the day came, my mistakes were caught

Things happened which were never thought

She left me, her whole world shattered in bits

And yes.........I too cried a lot.

I tried my best to get her back

I was late, my pictures were removed off the rack

I tried to hold her with all my love

But her life was already free of the gak.

So here I am today, not happy, not sad

There are times, both good and bad

Though that was the best time of my life

The best moments I ever had!

Sometimes at night being stiff I try

To stop those tears from rolling by

But they too curse me for the sin I've done
