The fear of running away from memories

The shadow of the beautiful and the ugly

Moments captured under flash and brightness

Walks on long stretched roads

Smiles that echoed in the dome

That craving to go back home

The food that mostly surprised with taste

The guavas, papayas, coconuts and plants

Those seemingly endless racks of books

Perpetual chatter that had no growth

Toiling, straining, struggling and surviving

A swimming pool that never saw me diving

The pathway adorned with creatures and species

Those snakes, lizards, birds, egrets and snails

Sun-blocked pathways full of shade

A gate that seemed too large

Those evenings at the room

That were full of thoughts

Those nights at the eatery

Where people flocked

Memories oh! Memories

Please haunt me, no more

Were i there, or were these nightmares

For I fail to find, any clue of their existence...
