Life
Life
A single word yet so intricate,
What is 'life' can I interrogate?
For a child, it's mere existence,
For the adults, it's pure persistence.
'Life' is impossible in a definition,
But a high and low note melody by a musician.
It's a roller-coaster journey with myriad waves,
Listen to what your bosom craves.
The journey from Birth to Death,
Or is it just taking a breath ?
For some, it is chasing a dream,
In the process, life vaporizes like steam.
For others, it is all about finding love,
Someone who is a picture of a dove.
Where bonds and fights are a part of life,
Getting a true friend is like a 6 on a dice.
Birth, education, job, nuptial, retirement and death is not all about it,
Not always a blockbuster that will be a super hit.
It's all about when we heal,
And don't romanticize like a reel.
From Parents to a wife,
We need a one always by our side.
Because life is rough,
Living alone here is very tough.
As a child, we wanted to grow apace,
Only to realize we are running in a rat-race.
Childhood was a stress-free period,
The being who introduced competition is an idiot.
Life in my terms is finding delight,
I know it's not that easy in this fight.
Happy endings are rare,
As Karma is a truth here.
