Life Is Beautiful

When darkness engulfed and sorrow overwhelmed,

You didn't let me accept defeat,

You were the silver lining in my dark cloud,

And I believed life is beautiful.

When the world ridiculed,

You didn't give up on me,

Then things went right for them to see,

And I believed life is beautiful.

You gave me a purpose,

Made me find myself,

Till I realized so much of me was you,

And I believed life is beautiful.

Now I have everything and yet nothing,

For you've gone never to return,

I fumble, I break, but you refuse to let me fail,

Your lessons are reminisced again,
