Joy, An Emotion
Joy, An Emotion
With the relentless feet,
Among the morning walkways;
I discovered joy,
In an amalgamation of emotions.
I met a father,
Teaching first cycle lesson,
To her daughter.
And a glimpse of a smile,
On both their faces;
Giving confidence,
To win the self and the world.
I got sight of people,
Dissolved in the morning rays;
Loving the sun-kissed warmth,
And getting blessed.
There are groups,
Laughing aloud on the belief,
The truth of being the best medicine;
And spreading the charm.
I met so many smiling faces,
And it was contagious;
Beyond the boundaries,
Of known and unknown.
The feeling, the charm,
The warmth, the sense;
Immersed in the hearts,
With Joy an emotion.
