Yes, it's Independence day! 

Another Independence day

A struggle, a fight, a sacrifice; their life for the motherland they lay

Let the people breathe, let our country be free; was their pray 

Many missions accomplished, several unearthed; for us a path they lay

For some a grant, a freebie, a vanity but for sure not a play 

Credits; discredits, that's the name of the game today

Errors, mistakes; that's the past, what matters is the deeds of today

Be pertinent be devoted be vigilant but don't leave any area grey

Intolerance, allegations, alienation, arrogance. ......keep at bay 

Like a bezel, a blazer, a bind, a blessing; let's find a way

The young the old the poor the rich; several are in the fray

Sort out the shambles; O blatant; the need for the day

It's something beyond hoisting the Flag on the INDEPENDENCE DAY
