If Words Had Wings
If Words Had Wings
Someday I wonder, how nice would it be
Had words got wings, and they could flee
Could carry feelings, of a dying soldier
Stop a lover, going far forever
Scattered everywhere, the sky being pulled
Of burden felt, by feelings untold
Motivate someone, struggling with adversity
Conveying a disheartened, the words of pity
My inconsiderate imagination, I put on hold
Some things aren't meant to be told
So nicer it is, that flightless are words
Sky being left, clean place for birds
With secrecy losing all its essence
Had been hard for mankind hence
From all this I realise, certainly not words
But surely Imagination can aviate like birds
