If I leave tonight,

Will you miss me?

Will you roll over 

To my bedside,

And know its empty?

Will you fill my place

On the couch

With empty cartons of food?

Will you dilute my fragrance

In the rooms,

With your cigarette fumes?

Will you replace my pictures,

With cheap bone-china 

from the mall?

Will you drown my memory,

In endless hours on the internet?

Will I become something that was not.
