Children Stories Others Children

If I Could Go Back In Time

If I Could Go Back In Time

I'd go back in time if I could,

I'd go back to my childhood.

I wouldn't have to worry

What to eat for dinner.

I would find simple pleasures

In climbing trees and peeking in the mirror.

Then I won't wake up

To the shrills of an alarm.

Not bitter and cold anymore,

Life would be tender and warm.

I would cry my fears to my mother

And forget about them a second later.

The world would still delight me,

And I'd be amused by its naive nature.

If to make a choice that I really should,

I'd go back to my childhood.
