Home Alone

Mom and Dad have gone to the market I am alone,

Me, Multitasking watching TV and scrolling phone.

Remembering instructions "Never open someone the door",

   Seems like I can never get bored.

Doing as I wish, not following orders,

  Feeling proud of myself "I am no more a toddler".

But oh! I am lonely in house,

   What if I come across a mouse? 

What if Mum dad get late because of traffic?

  My wonderful experience will spoil and get terrific.

What if my glass falls and crackles,

  God! Please give me the strength so that every situation I can tackle.

Bravo!! Mumma and papa have returned, 

  Thank you, God, for being so concerned. 🙏
