A smile is what you see, the sadness is what I hide.

I wish I could flee, into the sky that is so wide.

My heart won't close its doors to stop the pain;

And my screams won't cross the walls of my brain.

Though I've tried so hard to confide in myself;

Having no one to talk to, sometimes, makes me want to jump off a train.

Perfection is what you see, the mistakes are what I hide.

I am done with this life of sorrow, of trying to pretend;

However beautiful it may be, it has now started

If there was any opportunity for me to grab;

I would have given everything for my life to ascend.

The future I'll be living, may somehow be bright;

At the end of the tunnel, there will always be light.

Even though the time for me has stopped;

I will keep on searching for the one to kiss and say good night.
