I tasted you in the salty waters flowing from my eyes..

I heard you in chirps of songbirds high..

I knew you in the dark nights in the hopeless of all times..

I witnessed you in the calms of the sleep..

You dawned on me in troubled times when all I would do was cry…

But all this time I stood ignorant of thy love..

Now My heart returns to where it belongs and my soul dances with joy in the fragrant air of thy love I breathe in and out…

I need no temples or mosques to bow to you for my soul is in eternal bowing, mad in your love…

My soul stands as the only mosque I need..
