I came to the earth,

Born into to the world,

Cuddled in my mother's bosom,

For few days I was without sight,

But on hearing mother's voice ,

I let out a yawn and smile.

What can be brighter than the rising sun?

Nay, nothing , not even the brightest gold.

Being a restless toddler,

Seeing the rising sun was a great delight for me,

I envisage the yellow gentle man smiling at me from the sky,

I smile like I have touched it ,

Looking up towards the sky to steal a gaze,

His brightness shut my little eyes in wonder of his beauty,

What a feeling so great I felt .

I never knew of the Moon and stars,

Till a night mom took me outside and pointed at them.

The moon was like a mother surrounded by her children, the stars,

I thought of the sun as the father,

Who goes out in the morning to his daily work,

And returns in the evening to rest,

The stars gather around their mother, moon for midnight tales,

Wow , what a great family above the sky.

I never knew my thoughts were far from reality.
