They come and go every year,
Casting a dark shadow on all our fears,
Bringing days for us to relish,
And errands that are so dear.
Sending prayers to the All-Mighty,
Giving money for charity,
Isn't it very magnanimous?
And they bring imperturbability.
People are busy all day,
Nonetheless, we children dance in gay,
Waiting for that moment to arrive,
When we disregard all our frays.
Festivals fill the aura with pleasure,
Giving a cold shoulder to the cocksure,
But this isn't it all,
For they delegate evil with censure.
