Compadre

The sun is accompanied by the sky,

The wind is accompanied by those who fly.

We are accompanied by friends, 

Who remain with us until the end.

Sharing rhapsodic moments with them, 

Spilling all the beans to them.

As invigorating as carbohydrates,

Friends are a part of everyone's fate.

It is unequivocally veracious,

That friends are solicitous.

They are the leaves of that sapling,

Which grew along with every moment of our living.

They look at you with a different vantage,

Not letting you lose your mystique even with age.

And when your spirits need a little lift, 

Friends are truly an extraordinary gift.
