Words on a paper

Don’t mean much

You claim.

But words are everything

When you truly mean

What you say.

Actions are everything,

They show you true intentions

You say.

But isn’t it if your words

Match your actions...

Everything is okay?

I get it, I understand.

You say... But do you

Really know?

You shake in understanding

And do the same thing

All over.

So maybe words aren’t everything

And maybe actions aren’t either.

Maybe instead it’s a balance

That actually makes us believers
