Erased

Those waves took back with them,

An ocean of tears.

Have you ever heard of a plant without a stem?

That's how life has been all these years.

A body with too many scars,

And a lot to feel.

Wished everytime I saw shooting stars,

I only wanted to heal.

Wrote a few words on the shore,

Saw them get erased.

That's how I was sure,

You too will be faded.

Saw the waves run back,

Taking all what's on the shore.

Suddenly all of it became black,

Didn't even give me a bit to think about what happened before.

When someone said "wake up",

I realized it was a nightmare.

Wanted to make the time stop,

Because it wasn't being too fair.

It was one with beautiful people,

And then you stopped by.

Life felt like a steeple,

When you left without saying goodbye.
