Doctors

Doctors are called the second God.

Many will agree and silently nod.

Every day and night tirelessly, they work.

How do they deal with the death shock?

Do they get attached to the patient?

During their practice of a profession ancient.

In a pandemic, they are the front warriors.

Victims, at times, not always the survivors.

Some of them are so professional.

Some are so gentle, friendly and personal.

Sadly, people blame them when something goes wrong.

Forgetting the sincere efforts put in by them, all along.    

The doctor, a lifesaver and rescuer in a white coat,

Who navigates the disease ridden stormy boat.

Wants to see the smile on every patient’s face.

Must keep away from malpractice and save the human race.

Money, fame and respect should not be their main aim.

Don’t play with human lives, please, it isn’t a game.
