Dear Best Friend
Dear Best Friend

It's like I've had this feeling forever that ignorance is bliss,
Then it was you who made everything clear, sealing it with a kiss.
You built me back from the wreckage,
You being in my life, is a right of my passage.
You're a miracle, I believe,
When you're around, I wear my heart on my sleeve.
I know, I irritate you a lot,
But talking to you has become my default.
Then talking to you kinda became an addictive drug,
Which swept all my pain under the rug.
I won
't say it's a good thing that you're living far away,
But if there's no night, we can't appreciate the day.
They say having a long distance friendship is tough,
Maybe ours is a diamond in the rough.
No matter how hard I vent out my spleen,
You carry no hard feelings.
Because you know my anger won't last long,
And you start making me laugh with some Justin Biber's song.
What I think, and how I feel, only you can construe,
I'm very lucky to have a friend like you...!
