Day X Of Self Isolation...

It is day 1

Of self-isolation

I have my phone and net

To keep me busy for the rest

A lot of shows to binge

And a lot of friends to catch up with

It is day 20

Of self-isolation

Truth be told its not as fun as before

I spent my time staring at a door

I keep getting bored very fast

As the day feels very vast

It is day 40

Of self-isolation

Every day is the same, nothing much to do

I am starting to feel lost and I have no clue

Of what to do, maybe just lie

In my bed

It is day 60

Of self-isolation

I feel alone sitting with my family

I feel sad watching a comedy

At times I don’t feel happy or sad

All I feel is nothing.

It is day X

Of self-isolation

I've lost track of time

I've lost track of emotion

At this point, it is just a body

Deep inside is a void.

People say I am depressed

Filled with loneliness

Just careless

I just hope this is a phase

Let me talk to someone

Cause I am not hopeless
