Darkness

Though it darkens the visuals,

Darkness illuminates the unseen!

It is like existential rituals,

It is so sacred and keen.

It’s not always ignorance as personified,

It can also teach something novel;

It lets you feel blind open eyed,

It lets you map from where you fell.

It lets you know who’re your own,

It is when you stay so lean;

It lets you know they’ve stayed or gone,

It lets you peep into your within.

It’s not that easy to husband the Darkness,

For timid, it turns life into hell;

Else, it softens the hardness

It lets you hear the unheard so well.
