Dark Sky

When there was light

And the day was bright,

I was filled with gloom

And my heart so heavy

As time went by

And dark clouds filled the sky,

With rain falling down

And the sea so grey,

Strangely my face lit up

And my heart so light

If darkness is ominous

And gloom and sadness

But my heart lights up

With joy and happiness,

Am I vicious and malicious

Or just plain joyous?
