Dad, World To Me

Friend of his children, partner to his wife,

Eyes of his parents, struggling whole life,

With a balance at work and peace at home,

Role model for his kids builds their heavenly dome,

As strong as diamond, as weak as eyes,

Uploading his feelings inside, truth or lies,

Hero of his daughter, Super Hero to his son,

With him by my side, every battle is won,

Magistrate during sibling fights turning decisive,

Being neutral at times or interchanging soft and abrasive,

Celebrating his kid's victory as his own,

Failures taught as lessons not to mourn,

When mom is not around, he becomes one,

Never says a no, even when tired a ton,

Dad is a word so compassionate but robust, 

Irreplaceable, one of a kind, a protective trust.
