Corona CONSEQUENCE

One fine morning, at a casual glance

Everyone was askance

Was it a coincidence

Or merely by chance 

I walked out with confidence

Was told to stay inside and distance

Stayed inside and all I did was prance

But I have to step out, for convenience

Spoke to my brother via teleconference

He told me to keep up the correspondence

Feeling helplessness and insignificance

At this odd occurrence

I am running out of patience

Losing my cool, my radiance

I need an audience

Can't keep up with this pretence

Paying a price for insolence

A result of extravagance

There's a limit to endurance

Give me back my independence

I am a victim of circumstance

Providence and governance

Eliminate me- Good riddance

For a mere pittance

 

Don't you see the defense

The mountains of evidence

Isn't it just amazing, the brilliance

Making us stay indoors, despite our intolerance

Let's begin with acceptance

And end negligence

Its time to join hands for benevolence

Not be remembered for nonchalance

I do have my insurance

My salary and allowance's assurance

But I don't want the resonance

From the siren of an ambulance

I speak from experience

Let's all make a difference.....
