Colourful Sights

Colourful sights all around,

Smiling faces masked with colours,

 Neighbours out in the streets;

Meeting strangers applying gulal,

Carefree, dancing, singing, playing,# rang barse,

Throwing coloured water in

Greeting each other,

 The spirit of love reflected in  various colours.

  The year that was, is a thing   of past,

   The year that is, will be full of   joy,

   For this festival of colours,

   Heralds the hope of life, for,

   Colours are the reflections of   Life.

 Colours are what gives  beauty to life.

   Colours are what symbolises   Life.

     On this holi we shall bathe in    Colours,

To step into a new world    without fear

  To immerse ourselves in  

  Celebration of colours.
