College Life
College Life
This is college life like an unhindered cart,
Where everyone feels they are playing their smartest card.
Oh, we feel as free as a bird, flying independently,
being our own lords, without yelled at vehemently.
Yet these projects and loads of assignments,
Shout out loud, O! dreamer! this freedom is just a misnomer.
See this bunch of giggling gossip mongers,
Clad in best of their attires,
Fizzle out all the worries by just clasping hands
Together, not so stronger.
Everyone here is hot headed with their rigid opinions,
Wait! in only next minute they cool off like crazy minions.
Dreams of making big with not much penny around,
Thinking high-living even higher
Since lending and borrowing things are never in crossfire.
Ambitions and indulgences sit pretty ablaze,
Days fly like galloping horses, making us aware
That hard work and perseverance should be given utmost care.
Friendships made and friendships broken, full of strife,
Enriching life with soulful memories, add lessons for life.
Filled with brickbats and loads of accolades,
Oh!... golden, lovely college days.
