Cat-Man-Dooo
Cat-Man-Dooo
I remember our Saturday noon
When you rush to market soon
With a bag filled with food
You got my tuna stewed.
With a huge ugly smile
You rubbed my belly a while
Which i always found appealing
But never showed you my feeling.
I then pause and stare
I guess you get my glare
Its a signal for you to stop
And get on with your job.
I want you to clean my bowl
Serve me with the tune whole
Meow is my acknowledgement
An indication of my contentment.
You sometimes need to be reminded ,to turn on the fan
The summer heat is killing me, like tuna on the pan
You give me those sounds ,which I never understand
Yet I think you like me , you stupid young man.
And now its the time, for my tiny beauty nap
You look jobless as ever and I’d take your lap
Which you would allow me, without being a fuss
To let the peace prevail , between the two of us.
You kiss pet and fondle which I generally miss
Everyday when you go, to the goddamn office
Although I may purr and be lost in reverie
A day with you, my human, is always my cherished memory!
