Can't I, Again

My days of past, my happy moments will they ever return again

My childhood days, those peaceful hours will they ever repeat, again.

Roaming about, creating a mess around, can't I do that once, again.

Wearing mumma's gown throwing things around, receiving a threatening eye for quietness,

Can't I get that chance again

Putting on Papa's shirt and commanding everyone around, will that time not return again

The innocence of face, the clearness of heart

Imitating all was the fun of the game.

Love from all was only got, as had no emotions that could be sort.

Running for ice_Creams, crying for chocolates different from the world around,

Can't the time run back again

Friends and foes could not be known, so had no words to hurt anyone,

Sharing of things was still done, can't I be the same again

Power to understand was though less,

Participation in all was still always there.

Love for all, the proud mark of that age

Caring for each other was a fantastic scene of the play

I wonder, why can't it take place again

For my childhood days were my golden days of silver moments, filled with diamonds

I hope, I get a chance to spend my precious pearls again!!!
