Blossom and Honey Bee
Blossom and Honey Bee
Amidst the garden's verdant hue,
A love affair began to brew,
A flower, with petals soft and bright,
Yearned for the bee's affection's might.
The bee, with wings aflutter,
Sought the flower like no other,
Drawn to her nectar's sweet delight,
He vowed to stay with her each night.
And so, they danced a lovers' dance,
A delicate and entrancing trance,
Amidst the garden's blissful sight,
Their love, a beacon of delight.
But as their love began to grow,
Another player joined the show,
A honey pot, with golden hue,
Whose sweet embrace the bee pursued.
The flower, with heart full of grief,
Could not bear the honey's sweet relief,
For though she loved the bee so true,
His heart now beat for honey's brew.
And so, the flower wilted slow,
Her petals lost their vibrant glow,
But in the bee's heart, a memory,
Of a love that once was,
and would always be.
