Birds, Our Melodious Friends...
Birds, Our Melodious Friends...
Soft little things,
Of different colours.
Birds are my friends,
Of a melodious nature.
Here goes the sparrow,
Pecking for worms,
There goes the sunbird,
Sucking nectar from precious flowers.
The penguins are waddling,
In their ice pool.
Eating fish,
From their stew.
The owls on the tree,
Having a nap,
Getting ready for their,
Duty of night.
The green parrots,
Eating their chillies.
The ostrich practising,
For his race.
The proudest runner,
Of his space.
The finches stout,
Eating their seeds and nuts.
Are tiny little beings,
Looking handsome in their golden feathers.
Don’t forget the hummingbird,
Native to Americas,
Though they are the smallest,
They make the sound which is the loudest
This unique family of birds
May remain as strong as a tree.
