Because, I Can'T Be Anyone'S Dear
Because, I Can'T Be Anyone'S Dear

Some images begin to play in my head;
As my eyes fall on your face, gleaming ahead …
The lineament bears a strong resemblance,
To someone, whom I always hold in my remembrance …
The radiant cheeks of yours,
When I turn my eyes to explore...
Reminds me of the fabulous art,
Owned by someone very close to my heart...
Your long hair, adorned in a pony,
A beautiful display, one could ever see...
Ignites the same sort of solace,
I once felt, under the shades of someone’s palace...
The delicate blinking of your eyelid,
With a serene pause in the speed...
Reminds me of the same moment of bliss,
That I often used to reminisce...
The tugging of the strands of hair,
Behind the helix of your ear...
Takes my mind back in time,
When I wove my first rhyme...
With a slight hint of your beauty,
Every fascination seems haughty...
You transport my heart to cloud nine,
As done by someone, who was never mine...
A profound feeling is blooming inside,
Which, I’m incapable to hide...
Your presence is undoing my desolation,
Created after a heart-rending separation...
But I know, you too will leave me soon,
As you inherit mostly from that moon...
All these illusions will vanish into thin air,
Because I know, I can’t be anyone’s dear…
