My baby is just a month

From being born

I am excited yet anxious

For this phase would be gone

I want to see my child

I want to hug her

I want to feel her skin

I want to dress her

Yet I don't want to let go

Of the feel of it inside me

I can take it wherever I go

Even when I go to pee

Inside me or out

You'll be treasured and loved

We are waiting to welcome you
