Ashore
Ashore
When life gets busy,
When going gets tougher,
That's when I want to return ashore.
When you are unable to catch up,
When you realise you haven't moved on:
From the day you began.
When in midst of warm hands, you feel insecure,
That's when I want to return ashore.
When grief doesn't leaves you,
When you're free falling from a cliff,
To know what is about to befall
But you can't scream to the core.
That's when I want to return ashore.
When people who love start judging you,
The hands that held you,the arms that you cried over.
Leaves you and stops loving you anymore.
That's when I want to return ashore.
When the pride, ego, fame and glory seems fake
When you rise up high in the sky
To know you have living a life of lies
When the races you won, the battles you triumph worth no more
That's when I want to return ashore.
When my time is done and I am long forgotten
I would not like to die and end up as a star
But keep blowing like the wind from the oceans far
That's when I will come back ashore.
