Angel In Disguise

Angel In Disguise

From carrying me for nine months in her womb,

To helping me dress and comb.

From teaching me how to speak,

To holding my hand when I was weak.

From belting me when I was wrong,

To putting me to sleep with her song.

From secretly shedding tears when I was down,

To not letting me be anyone's clown.

From holding the family as one,

To all the hearts she had won.

From fasting for the better of us,

To bearing all of our fuss.

From knowing what I need,

To keeping us happy is all she would plead (god).

From being my friend, guardian and a teacher,

To being a soul as pure as a preacher.

SHE'S MY MOTHER.

SHE'S MY ANGEL IN DISGUISE.
