An Invitation To Rain

Pitter patter fall rain,

Making the earth green again

 Oh! let us smell the fragrance of the petrichore, 

Filling the ponds with plenty of water

 Oh! let the children Sail paper boats, 

And let all enjoy hot pakoras and yummy oats,

Let the frogs hop and Peacock dance, 

to relish the rain give us another chance.

Let The Heat go away,

Wow! What lovely weather Let everyone say 

Let everyone get wet

Fill Everyone with excitement

 Let every child splash in the puddles of mud

But beware don't bring flood
