An Endless Dream
An Endless Dream
The clock has turned, so has our way;
Why are you still waiting on the bay?
Looking for an escape, I run with all my might
Even after miles, you seem so bright.
Stronger than wine is your flawless smile
My legs did stop, I am lost for a while!
Riding on the waves, why did you come near?
Losing myself to you, is all I fear.
I can't let my heart suffer, feel the pain once more
yet who cares, the waves have crashed onto the shore!
Why do I kiss your forehead and hold your hand,
Time is thy master, It doth flee like sand.
The moment you sleep, your head on my chest,
The moon does dance, when the whole world rest;
The breaking of dawn says an end to my dream,
I smile at myself, the soul lets out a silent scream.
