ALIEN
ALIEN
I often think,
There are aliens among us
Hiding in plain sight.
But I want to believe
They will come in peace.
Unaware of their mission
I put my delusional faith in them,
Like God because I haven’t seen one.
Still choose to love them.
I keep wondering,
Are they here to observe us?
To study our anatomy?
Or do they have feelings too?
Guess I’ll never be sure,
Just like my feelings.
But I’ll welcome them in my house,
Just like I do with an unknown love
In my cozy heart.
And hope they find our planet hospitable,
They find a home away from home.
Maybe one day I can visit their world
Aboard their flying saucer.
