Un-belong
Un-belong
Through the window pierced
Her pointless stare
Among strange people
Her eyes gleamed of despair
She reminisced her heartbeat merge with thine
The delicacies you demanded
That she must dine
The love you sought
With kicks you fought
Ceaseless prompts of an offspring
Gelusil, her fancied drink
Throw ups and lie downs, her bustle
Then you appeared out of the canal
She breathed in your scent.
Your tiny hands clasped her little finger
Your benign eyes trusting
You both grew and grew
She grew more
And waited at the door
That which was not home but still called it
Your stingy life was squandered, not spent
She sought your little finger to hold
You pulled your hand back
She pushed herself into wet moss
You will get a call soon.
Sooner than soon
To say you were a burden to your cross
