A Salute to the Man, who is our Pride.

A Leader, who gave power to my Nation,

A Mind, which gave fearless decisions.

A voice with which, lives of many had risen,

Our Bharat Ratna, who gave meaning to Patriotism.

A Poet, who made the world his own,

By him, seeds of our Development were sown.

He spoke without fear, like a Lion's Roar,

By all he is missed; In our hearts, he lives, Though he is no more.
