A Farewell Message

Every year I write a message,

I try to write it in verse.

I hope it's not too boring

And make you sweat and curse.

I don't know what to say,

I've said it all year.

But I wonder if anything

Ever got into your ear.

Some of you listened

To every word I said.

While others, I feel, would have

Stayed happily in bed.

Sometimes I hated you:

You made me rant and shout.

Many times your faces told me

What love is all about.

If you study daily

You will surely top the class.

But if you study just for the test;

Then you will barely pass.

Time flies and years roll by,

Every day flies past.

Thing happen; events go by,

Life is just too fast.

All I wish for you can be

Compressed in a line.

When you grow up I wish me to become

'CITIZEN FINE'
