10 Commandments For Parents

(Poem sent by my mentor Dr SHANKAR RAMAMOORTHY)

“CORD WAS CUT… CORD WAS CUT.. UMBILICAL MISS”

#1 I promise to” drop the mind” of my child and make them available to god.

#2 I promise to retain my child’s innocence, uniqueness and ignorance.

# 3 I promise to make them walk without feet, fly without wings and think without minds

#4 i want them to fail, fail early, fail fast and learn

fast

#5 I promise that I won’t “ invest” in my child. The moment I want to fulfil through my child, I will be a cruel parent.

#6 I promise that if I love my child then I will not give them ideas, as love never give ideas.

#7. I promise that I will not expect my children to an adult. I want them to be my children forever

#8. I promise that I will not stop my child to climb a tree. Infact I will help him/her and join along with him/her.

#9. I promise to cherish my child s childhood and give them best memories of their life.

#10. I promise that I wont burden my children with my “unlived” experiences. I want my children to be “themselves” and not “me”.

Parents, arise and know that love is respectful. Please respect your child, child is life and they are guest from unknown… treat them as guest, don’t put your “will”.

Remember the cord was cut.. When they were born.. Cord was cut…
