Played pioneering role in building Micro credit movement in Odisha and earned name as an able administrator. Introduced Amrapali mango in Odisha. His publications include “ SHG- A silent Revolution “, “Pade Aagaku/ A Small Step Forward”, “Janasangathan is Janasakti” etc. Four telefilms were made on his book, “A Small step Forward”. He has been a prolific short Story writer in Odia and English. A Short Story collection titled ମିଛ ଝରଣାର ପାଣି was published in January 2025 which is a best seller in Amazon.
