What Writing Is To Me
What Writing Is To Me
Picture this - You are dead tired after a long day, your muscles are aching badly, your head is ready to burst at a moment's notice (stress is a ticking time bomb after all), your neck is taut with stress, and then, suddenly your spine says, “I surrender".
Now, if at this very moment, a warm, cozy bed were to magically appear in front of you, how would you feel? That is the exact same way I feel about writing. In fact, I think this is how all writers feel about writing.
I love writing. I may write bad, I may write good but it's a constant source of escapism from the banal life that I lead. I like to write, I make mistakes, I love to correct my mistakes. Constructive criticism is a writer's shield and an amalgamation of great ideas and good writing is his sword.
