My Teacher, My Saviour

Alex is a young boy in his third grade.

Every classmate of his always neglected him because he has autism, but he's the most brilliant out of them, making his classmates more jealous of him.

His class teacher Mrs Melvin, was no less than his classmates.

Even if she instead of reprimanding the kids for discriminating against him, even she will join them in doing so.

Soon after a big incident happened, Mrs Melvin got transferred, and Ms Joy became the third grader's teacher.

After a week in the class, she got to know every student in the class.

One day, she went to Alex and asked him "why he's always alone?"

He didn't say anything, just kept on looking at her.

She tried to understand Alex, and became his friend, in other not to make him feel left out.

After a month, she made all his classmates know that discriminating against someone is bad and that they should be his friend.

Ms Joy became Alex's candle that lightened him up in his dark days.
