We often, hear about people who love to read books and, how these same people apply what they have read in the books in their day-to-day life. I would like to narrate a short story about a little girl who loved to read books right at the age of five

Once upon a time it so happened that when she was home alone, she heard a knock at the door and then she realized that it could be a stranger who wanted to break in and rob the house and attack her too. She had read about such attacks in the books she had read, and she was fully aware of the harm it would cause her if she opened the door. Though she was young she was very smart too ready to take on challenges that came her way. This story depicts upon the role that books play in grooming young minds right at the young age. 

I could conclude by saying that books saved her day.
