Forget me when I have gone away
No more you can see my face
All of you forget me day by day
Never say a word about my loss!
You can no more hear my speech
I have left my poems at your hands
I may be nearer to the beach
I may be far away from the stars!
Don’t think of me-think about you
Yours is the space and this earth
Don’t hear lies and keep your virtue
I may have a brave man’s death!
Forget the great things I have done
Tell to your heart “he is dead”
We won’t meet in this world again
Now your prayer cannot do any good!
I am in the world’s favourite poems
I am running in the steepest streams
I am living in the tallest trees
You forget my memories as dreams!
