ANTICIPATE

What a loss to live that many years...

Just to realize what is not yours

And that it shall never be.

Standing alone, beneath the dusky sky,

I wish for the time to pass soon -

I wish for the new year to dawn -

Wish to be somewhere else, somewhere, where I belong -

Not this place.

Not like anywhere I've already been.

May be, it's all a matter of phase.

Perhaps, it's all about seeking the identity.

The truth haunts me like shadows,

Always behind me, every moment,

Following me straight.

I wish to live that day,

The day the curtains will raise.

The day I shall meet the purest version of the Self -

Freed of the veil of illusion,

And that, that shines with freedom -

Of vision,

Of perception,

Of life.
