The most reliable truth ever asserted. One day, the most successful magician of the world was interviewed.

The questioner said, "How do you define magic?” The answer was very stunning.

The magician whispered with a mild smile on his face, "There is nothing like Magic."

Questioner's eyebrows were up.

After a week, the same magician was invited in a school as a judge where there was a magic competition and many students had participated. After all the students performed, the magician declared the results. The people in the audience were surprised to know that there was only one student who had occupied first, second and third position. Everyone was earnestly waiting for the magician to come on the stage and explain the reason why he gave all the three ranks to one boy. The house was frozen in the pin drop silence when finally the magician came on the stage and having been asked about such an odd judgment, he released his words.

He said, "I am the most successful magician of today's time. I very well know what magic is and what it is not."

The audience was unblinkingly staring the magician and each of his words was worth.

People’s avidity was increasing with each second and the final sentence was awaited like anything. The magician took little pause and then added these words.

"This boy whom I have given all the ranks is not doing magic."

People’s forehead got wrinkles.

"What he is doing is not magic. He is doing something else. He is doing something higher. And I can say this confidently because I very well know that there is nothing like magic. Thank you for inviting me here as a judge."

The silence in the house was as still as it was. After this speech, the magician wore his hat and headed towards the gate. All that was heard in the house were his footsteps. No sooner did he reach the exit door, he heard a lonely sound of clapping. There were only two guys who were clapping with some unknown glow; as if they understood something which the rest could not. The magician gave a familiar smile towards them and left. The people inquired and they knew that one of those two guys (who clapped) was a priest and the other was a poet. People's surprise got doubled when they knew that both were blind. The people were just scratching their head exactly the way many of you would after reading this shortest story.
