True Friends Are Hard To Find
Friendship is based on trust and love. Friendship and trust are like mirror you can fix it when it’s broken, but you will still see the cracks. However, sometimes it become difficult to ignore these cracks or permanently erase them.
A girl named Sarah had two best friends Margaret and Clara. They all were the best friends in School life and they always did all School activities together. Even after their school life they never forgot each other. They tried to spend some time with each other from their busy schedule. There was another girl named Marielle she was a close friend of Sarah, but they never spent time with each other.
One day in the evening Sarah had gone out with Clara in a café for just chit-chatting after some time Margaret also joined them. While chit-chatting Sarah’s boss had called her and told “Sarah come to office immediately there is an urgent meeting”. Sarah told everything to her friends about the meeting. They said, “You go Sarah, we’ll catch up with you later bye!!”, she grabbed her bag and went to her office. While going on the away she met Marielle. Marielle asked her to have cup of coffee with her. Sarah told her that she is busy right now, but she’ll catch up with her on some other day.
Sarah went to the office. After the meeting she was depressed/In tension because the meeting was unsuccessful. So, she decided to go home early while going home she was thinking about the meeting only. While she was crossing the road, a car was coming her way. She saw the car but, the car driver was drunken, and the car hit her.
The next day she found herself in hospital. Her left hand was fractured and there were scars on her face and a she was bandaged on her head too. She opened her eyes and said “Where am I? What happened with me?” The nurse was there with her, she said that “You met with a car accident yesterday and you are in a hospital.’’ Sarah asked her “Did you called anyone and told about my accident?” the nurse replied that she had called her family member from her phone, but no one received the call. Sarah asked her “Can you please give me my phone back? I want to call my friend and tell them about my accident” So the nurse gave her the phone back and went out of the room.
She called Margaret and said “Hello! Margaret, I met with a car accident yesterday and now I am in the hospital will you please come here.” Margaret said, “Actually I would come but I am seriously very busy with my office stuff, so I can’t come to meet you.” Sarah felt very sad, so she tried to call Clara, but she didn’t pick up the call. She felt very sad that any of her best friends are not able to come and meet her. The next day she was discharged from the hospital.
She was in her house watching TV. While switching the channel she stopped on one of the channels. It showed that there is a monk named Fred he lived in a city, but he lived a very simple life. He teaches people some lessons about life. He said, “Friendship is like parts of tree, it has leaves, branches and roots.”
He said that friends like leaves are meant to leave. They are meant to be in our lives for temporary period. Friends like leaves are amazing in the beginning but they often take more than they are willing to give.
Friends like branches are the one who says, “I am here for you.’’ But as soon as things get tough, they break of as they can’t carry much weight. Those branches are made for purpose, but they don’t last for longer.
Friends like roots are permanent. They are the one who go through every problem with you. They break apart, fall apart only to build you. When friend like leaves and branches are blown away or broken off, but friend like roots will never leave you.
After watching the show Sarah was in deep thought about who is her real best friend? While she was thinking the doorbell rang Sarah got up and opened the door and was astonished to see Marielle. Sarah asked, “Marielle what happened? What bring you here?” Marielle said, “Nothing happened with me. I’m here for you.” Sarah said come in. Marielle asked “What exactly happened with you? How are you feeling now? Sarah replied, “I’m fine.” And she explained Marielle what exactly happened with her.
After some talking about the accident Marielle was about to leave, Sarah came near her and hugged her and said, “I behaved very rudely and carelessly with you I always used to ignore you. I’m very sorry please pardon me.” Marielle said, “I always cared about you and waned you to be happy. Yes, I will forgive you because I’m your friend”. Sarah said, “Thank you for always begin nice with me, I will never leave you alone now.” Marielle left after this conversation.
After Marielle left Sarah started thinking, Is Marielle my best friend? She recalled what was shown on the TV. And said, “Maybe Marielle is only made for me I think she is more than friend to me she is my Best Friend.”
