To the stranger who made my day with a random smile, thanks for being so kind and letting me know that the world isn't that mean even during my worsts.

To my co-passenger in the metro, thanks for sharing your doughnut when I was so drained and hungry.

To the friend who stood as a shoulder to cry on, I still remember the day I broke up, how I was crying and breaking all the threads of hopes and came by, saying, "it's okay darling, he didn't deserve you."

To my grade-1 teacher who wiped my tears on the first day of school, I can't be grateful enough to you for bursting in as my new caretaker the moment I stepped in and winning my heart throughout my school days.

To the senior who shared her tiffin when I dropped mine, I am unable to find any dish that could beat the taste of your lunch box. Ask me today, and I had dropped ten more lunch boxes just to have that taste again.

To the girl who lent me a sanitary pad in the school corridor, thanks for saving me from the societal embarrassment and proving that only girl can understand another girl.

To my sister, thanks for teaching me something new at every point of life and supporting me always. I can never forget the pillow fights, your constant tantrums and fits for attention, cakes and remote throughout.

Lastly, to the women who made my existence possible, I really don't have words to express my gratitude to you mom, for introducing me into this world, giving me this life, for being so selfless, for teaching me everything, supporting me, scolding me and making me the best version of myself.

To sum up, I can't thank you enough for the roles which you've played for the lessons you've taught. The sense of responsibility, support, genuineness and selflessness within you is absolutely commendable. Someone has righttly penned the golden words that when women support each other, incredible things happen.

Yours truly,

Just another girl.
